A towbar mounted bike carrier is the best way to transport your bikes, it’s safer, easier to load and offload as they are lower to the ground and provides better protection for your vehicle and the bike. Taking up to 4 bikes and 60kg they are also suitable for electric bikes. However they are not cheap and can take up a lot of room when storing them.
To solve both of these issues we offer a range of Thule Towbar mounted carriers which are available to hire. Hire for the weekend, full week or fortnight or we can give you a price for the number of days to suit you.

NOTE: You will need an additional number plate for the rack. You will have to organise this prior to your hire. Remember to take your V5 into the shop when ordering the additional number plate. Minimum 7 days hire during Uk school holidays.
To book a carrier please email info@cycling2000.co.uk with the dates you require including the collection and drop off day, the carrier you would prefer and number of bikes.
On collection we will require a £100 security deposit with 2 proofs of identification which include 1 photo and 1 address. You will also need a number plate. We will give you a demonstration of how the carrier works, fit the number plate you provide and help attach to the towbar.
