1- 10 KRIPTONITE RATING SYSTEM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each lock has a security rating (not a quality rating) that ranks the varying levels of security offered in the range. This system is designed to help you choose the best lock for your needs. It’s a 10 point system with 1 being deterrent security and 10 being ultimate security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1,2&3 <\/strong>– Locks designed for quick stops in rural areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4,5&6 <\/strong> – Quick stop in a metropolitan area, couple of hours in the suburbs, overnight in a rural area or a couple of hours on a car rack on the road<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7&8<\/strong> – All day in an urban area, quick stop on a college campus, overnight in the suburbs, overnight in a rural area or all day on a car rack on the road<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9&10<\/strong> – Overnight in any of the following areas, any metropolitan area, college campus, any rural area or on a car rack on the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a number of lock options available including, Cable locks, Chains, U Locks (or D Locks), Folding locks plus accessories including cables and ground anchors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
