Once you\u2019re done, we\u2019ll pick up your bike and drive it back home again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Book and pay for your bike transport early and save \u00a3\u00a3\u00a3\u00a3\u2019s \u2013 it can work out cheaper than a week\u2019s box hire and Ryanair\u2019s sports equipment costs. France is a stunning location for a cycling holiday. For Mountain Bikers the Alps also offer endless singletrack and a huge number of Bike Parks. Our favorite area for both Mountain Biking and Road Cycling is the Portes du Soleil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Majorca &#8211; to follow<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>Italy <\/strong>there are some stunning areas to ride in Italy however our favorite is in the Chianti region, home of L&#8217;eroica and the Strada Bianche (white roads). Rolling hills, amazing views, stunning food, what more could you want. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>Lanzarote<\/strong> is an ideal place for cross country mountain biking. On tracks and goat paths you cycle through the bizarre landscape of lava and craters. The majority of the tours you can start from the Puerto del Carmen area. The longest downhill track is 8 km, most of the others are between 1 and 3 km. In between, there are downhill and uphill stretches with different levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Lanzarote also has excellent conditions for road cycling: Smooth tarmac roads, low traffic density, topography up to 600 m with enough flat and steep bits for aerobic endurance and strength training, mild climate that allows year round swimming in the Atlantic.<br>The best time to visit is from September to May. From June to August, the trade winds keep the temperatures within limits.
