Orca isn’t just light. It is 6.7kg of climbing technology designed to change how you reach the top.

The feeling of a bike this light and efficient is unbeatable, and this instant acceleration, vibration absorption and responsive handling come from a frame which knows where it needs to be light and where it needs to be stiff. Welcome the ultimate climbing machine!

There are a number a models in the Orca range, all available in 2 or 3 “factory” colours plus several that your can customize using MyO. Check out the full range here.

Orbea has reduced the weight of the Orca by taking care of every conceivable detail. As frames get lighter, the more complicated it becomes to remove more weight without compromising anything, especially power transfer. The Orca’s journey to lightness was about obsessing over the details, resulting in a 750g OMX medium frame (as featured in Orca LTD models) and a 360g fork.

The OMR frame weighs in at 1030g while the fork tips the scales at 410g. Both OMX and OMR frames offer the same stiffness numbers in all of the areas needed for power transfer, but the use of more ‘elastic’ (and slightly heavier) fibres in the OMR frame increases ride comfort, especially over longer distances or rougher surfaces – making OMR Orca frames the lightest in the endurance racing category.
