DESCRIPTION:A 100km sportive to get your season started in style.\nCoffee\, cake and and a great day out on the bike on May 4th 2025 \n\n\n\n\nNew Venue:\nFor our 2025 ride we’re heading to Hanbury where we’ll be taking over their village hall to create a pop up cafe and bike shop where you’ll be able to grab a bacon sandwich and proper coffee shop coffee\, then browse the bargains before heading out on the bike to mull over what you might buy when you get back! \nNew Route:\nThis year we’re delving deeper than ever into north Staffordshire in search of some testing hills that make up the first half of the route before dropping back down through Cheadle and Uttoxeter to tackle a finalé that features a number of shorter climbs to keep things interesting onthe return leg. Something for the grimpeurs and the puncheurs in equal measure. \nNew Format:\nFor 2025 we’re moving away from the town center start and finish that’s been the tradition for Spring Forward and relocating to a more rural setting where we can offer you everything you need for the day in one place. The new location also means a cap on numbers\, compact and bijou\, you can call it a boutique sportive if you want to sound posh. \nWhat’s included?\nEntry fee for the ride includes a fully signed route on the day plus support for the ride along the way. Here’s what’s included: \nAt the Start:\nThe HQ will feature a pop up PAU Cafe and bike shop\, so expect to be able to lay your hands on bacon baps\, bargains and any last minute assistance you need to get your bike on the road. HQ opens at 8am\, you can start your ride from 9am \nAlong the way:\nWe’ve included a half way refreshment stop on this ride. At the feed we’ll have hot food and drink\, plus top up snacks for the road and the opportunity for a toilet stop should you need to.

The session will also develop lower limb and core strength to improve overall power on the bike. Attending the session will aid recovery from training sessions and rides\, also enhance breath control and lung expansion. As this is an all levels class\, previous yoga experience is not required. This promises to be a cycling experience you’ll never forget while supporting your local hospice. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the ride \nCycling from London to Paris is one of the greatest cycling experiences in Europe. After passing through picturesque Kent countryside\, you’ll cross the Channel and continue through the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France. There’ll be long days in the saddle and some strenuous hill-climbs but the sight of the Eiffel Tower\, our finishing point\, will give you a real sense of achievement. The last day in Paris allows everyone to explore the sights and soak up the atmosphere of France’s capital city. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPayment options:  \n1. Fundraising: £99 registration fee\, minimum sponsorship £1\,800\, payable 10 weeks before departure date \n2. DESCRIPTION:Ride Overview \nA spring gravel classic in the Peaks taking in the heart of this stunning region. \nStarting in Buxton\, we take on the best gravel in the Peaks with glorious views in all directions as we head east to Bakewell & then south to the edge of the Peaks. \nUnlike most of the road & MTB routes through this region\, this ride is (relatively) flat / rolling with just over 1\,000m elevation on the 100km long course. The gravel is well maintained and smooth so it’s suitable for riders of all abilities & experience. A great way to see one of the UK’s most beautiful regions. \nHighlights\nEpic rail to gravel trails throughout the route\nGet off the beaten track and ride over rolling hills\, passed abandoned stations and remote villages in the stunning Peak District.\nUnlike most rides in this region\, the terrain is relatively flat / rolling so it’s suitable for most riders. \nIncluded in Entry \nFully Signed Route\nOur team work tirelessly to create the best gravel routes in the UK. All courses are fully signed so you can just enjoy the ride. \nCheckpoints with Proper Food\nAn epic ride deserves proper support. We have tea\, coffee and cake at the first feed and sandwiches & crisps at the main feed. Checkpoints are approx every 30 – 35km \nAccurate GPX Files\nA few days before the ride\, we will send GPX files for all of the route options so you can follow the course on your GPS as well as the signs. \nMechanics Available\nAt the rider village & at selected feed stops we have mechanics available to help with any bike issues.
